I have 40 years of energy arts experience, including a Doctorate in Chinese Energetic Medicine and ordination as a Buddhist Lama and Christian Mystical Priest . My experience also includes Tai Chi, Reiki (Levels 1 and 2 certified), yoga and meditation. I have been passionate about teaching and applying Qi Gong to improve the wellbeing of my clients -- particularly those who otherwise could not afford access to the practice. In addition to my online classes, I teach qi gong at 4 homeless shelters in California and Colorado and the Women's Cancer Resource Center in Oakland, CA. I donate 100% of my fees to a homeless shelter, www.thefamilytree.org, in Denver, CO. I have been fortunate to have been trained directly for over 5 years by the father of Qi Gong in the West, Prof. Jerry Alan Johnson, who has published numerous textbooks on medical Qi Gong based on a lifetime of training with masters around the world. Our direct lineage dates back 1,800 years in the Mao-Shan Daoist Temple in China, bringing sophisticated and secret techniques which are rarely known even in China. Coming from a traditional legal and corporate background, I have been astounded by the unheralded power of this branch of Qi Gong to affect the physical and energetic body for the better. Riverdale, GA

 

Riverdale is a city in Clayton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 15,134 at the 2010 census, up from 12,478 in 2000. Riverdale is a suburb just south of Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport and is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area.

The area now known as Riverdale was settled before the Civil War. Riverdale was founded in 1886 when the railroad was extended to that point.

In 1908, the city was incorporated with the name Riverdale, named in honor of Mr. W.S. Rivers, the original owner of the town site who donated his land to the railroad company.

Monroe Huie, a farmer, conceived a notion to supply wood to the local railway network. Whenever the train arrived to collect wood, it also delivered fertilizer to the region. As a result, the sales of fertilizer became the primary business endeavor in the area. Before the construction of the spur, fertilizer had to be transported in wagons from the nearby town of Jonesboro.

Riverdale is in western Clayton County, 12 miles (19 km) south of downtown Atlanta and 6 miles (10 km) northwest of Jonesboro, the county seat.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Riverdale has an area of 4.5 square miles (11.6 km2), of which 0.012 square miles (0.03 km2), or 0.22%, is water.

The city is governed by a mayor and four council members. Each council member represents the entire city and is elected at-large. Council members come from the four wards that divide the city. The mayor and council appoint a city manager, who has oversight over five departments. They also further appoint a municipal judge and judges pro tempore to serve in the city's municipal court.
