Palm Springs is a desert resort city in Riverside County, California, United States, within the Colorado Desert's Coachella Valley. Palm Springs is located in the Sonoran Desert. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 95.0 square miles (246 km2), of which 94.1 square miles (244 km2) is land and 0.9 square miles (2.3 km2) (1%) is water.
