Upper Gwynedd Township is a township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 15,552 at the time of the 2010 census. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 8.1 square miles (21 km2), all land. It is in the Schuylkill watershed and is drained by the Towamencin and Wissahickon Creeks. Its villages include Gwynedd Heights, Gwynedd Square, and West Point.
