I am Alaura Pittman, an aromatherapist, and student of herbs. I believe plants are our greatest allies, and that tackling our emotional well-being can aid in our body's health and dis-ease. My passion is helping others discover their unique path to self-healing.
I began studying the healing power of plants in an attempt to to live a more sustainable life and connect to deeper, ancestral healing. I want to show everyone how accessible plant medicine can be. You don’t have to be a yogi or a calm, centered, blissful person 24/7 to enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy and herbs.
I thought I was following a healthy diet when I had my first gout attack, and the only resources I had were local libraries and writing to the World Health Organization for all known alternative remedies. I went through 20 years of acute attacks in several joints, spending weeks in bed taking far too much aspirin. The medical community had no solution for me other than offering drugs. During this time, I sought out many different healing methods and eventually met someone who suggested I discontinue eating grains.Three months later, all my symptoms disappeared and I have not had a single flare up or attack now 20 years later. In the process of healing, decades of research, experimenting with food and exercise has been invaluable. If I had known how easy it could have been, many years of suffering would have been avoided.I can help you pinpoint exactly which foods are interfering with your health goals. By making a few simple changes, you'll be amazed at how much better you feel. It's so much easier when you have the right support.https://alxscher.com

Angela David is a Health & Wellness Coach, Registered Nurse (RN), and Master of Public Health (MPH) professional specializing in sustainable behavior change, stress management, and evidence-informed wellness practices for healthcare professionals and high-stress populations.
Her work integrates health coaching, public health principles, behavior change science, and nervous system-aware wellness practices to help clients build realistic, sustainable health habits within the demands of real life.
Angela has been teaching yoga since 2015 and later pursued advanced training in trauma-informed yoga, meditation, and iRest Yoga Nidra after recognizing the impact chronic stress and nervous system dysregulation can have on both physical and emotional wellbeing. Her approach is grounded, practical, and focused on helping clients develop sustainable systems for movement, recovery, stress management, nutrition, and overall wellbeing.
Through her experience working in healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic, Angela witnessed firsthand the strain that chronic stress, burnout, fatigue, and inconsistent self-care place on healthcare professionals and caregivers. I've worked with teens as a teacher in middle school, in high school, a high school librarian, and now as a life coach. The reason for my commitment to teens is simple - I really like them, and teens need fans. My passion for coaching comes from knowing that teens have too many people giving them advice and telling them what to do, and what they really need is someone to listen fully and without judgment while they find their way to the solutions and changes they can make to pursue their passions and goals. I am honored to be that person for the teens and young adults I coach.
I earned an MEd. in. Secondary English Education and am a Certified Life Coach for Young People through Youth Coaching Institute (YCI). I also write a monthly column on the School Library Journal's Teen Librarian Toolbox blog called RevolTeens about teens who make a difference in the world.
At home, I have raised three of my own teens, now 23, 19, and 17. I know that they have always needed an outside unbiased voice from teachers, therapists, or other trusted adults in addition to their parents' guidance to feel successful and grounded. One of the reasons that coaching works for teens is that they get to talk to someone who is not their mom. An outside, caring, and compassionate adult who works with them where they are now - with no history or baggage. It is a great honor and privilege to be that adult in a teen's life.
If your teen needs an outside voice to listen, connect, and guide them through solving problems, let's talk. I offer free consultations with parents (or young adults 18-24) to discuss what brings you to coaching and how coaching can help. You can find me at www.christinelively.com
