Springfield Township is a township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The population was 20,993 in 2022 according to the Census Bureau. It includes the villages of Wyndmoor, Erdenheim, Flourtown, and Oreland. The communities of Lafayette Hill, Fort Washington, Laverock, North Hills, Miquon, and Glenside are also situated partly inside the Township.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 6.8 square miles (17.6 km2), of which 6.8 square miles (17.6 km2) is land and 0.15% is water. Springfield has a humid subtropical climate (Cfa) and the hardiness zone is 7a.
