Welcome. I'm a retired U.S. Army officer and former newspaper editor who embarked on my journey into Tai Chi while still in active service. Although my initial interest was piqued during my military days, my pursuit of Tai Chi was temporarily sidelined by time constraints and professional responsibilities, only to be reignited once I retired. With more than 2,000 hours of teaching experience, I hold the esteemed title of Certified Level 3 instructor accredited by the ATCQA. Furthermore, I am currently undergoing training as a Holden Qigong Teacher-In-Training and have the privilege of serving as a Master Trainer under the guidance of Grand Master Dennis Kelly at Defy Aging, Inc. As a veteran, my commitment to Tai Chi and Qigong deepened in 2020 when I initiated my certification process with the American Tai Chi and Qigong Association (ATCQA). During this journey, I collaborated with like-minded volunteer instructors at the James A. Haley VA Hospital. Haverford is an unincorporated community located in both Haverford Township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States, and Lower Merion Township in Montgomery County, approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Philadelphia.
