Myrtle Grove is a census-designated place (CDP) in New Hanover County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 8,875 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Wilmington, NC Metropolitan Statistical Area.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 7.3 square miles (19 km2), of which 6.9 square miles (17.8 km2) is land and 0.4 square miles (1.0 km2) (5.37%) is water.
As of the 2020 United States census, there were 11,476 people, 4,172 households, and 3,222 families residing in the CDP.
As of the census of 2000, there were 7,125 people, 2,839 households, and 2,222 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,037.4 inhabitants per square mile (400.5/km2). There were 3,021 housing units at an average density of 439.9 per square mile (169.8/km2).
