Most of the women I see are doing everything right and still feel off. Tired by mid-afternoon. Weight that stopped responding to the things that used to work. Sleep that doesn't repair. They've usually been told everything checks out, and they've usually stopped bringing it up.
I'm a family nurse practitioner, certified in functional medicine, and I've built my practice around one idea: those symptoms are information, not malfunction. The question I'm interested in isn't what's wrong with you. It's what your body is responding to.
Reclaim Power Telehealth is a video practice based in Westfield, Indiana. I spend a full hour with each person, look at the whole picture instead of one number at a time, and explain what I'm seeing in plain English. I see patients in Indiana, Colorado, Arizona, Washington and Utah, in English and in Vietnamese.
I also wrote a short book, The Safety Switch, on why the body holds on to weight. It's free at rptelehealth.com/safety-switch, and it's the best introduction to how I think.
