Dingman Township is a township in Pike County, Pennsylvania, United States. The Township was named in honor of Judge Daniel Westbrook Dingman and was created on April 17, 1832, from part of the former Upper Smithfield township. Pike County is a county in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As of the 2020 census, the population was 58,535. Its county seat is Milford. The county is part of the Northeast Pennsylvania region of the state.
Pike County is considered a micropolitan area in itself by the United States Census Bureau, known as the Hemlock Farms micropolitan area. Before the 2020 United States Census, it was included in the New York-Newark-Jersey City, NY-NJ-PA Metropolitan Statistical Area.
