Spring Valley is located at 41°6′52″N 74°2′52″W (41.114445, −74.047771). According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.0 square miles (5.2 km2), of which 0.004 square miles (0.01 km2), or 0.10%, is water.
