There were 4,112 housing units at an average density of 947.5 per square mile (365.8/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 95.7% White, 1.1% African American, 0.3% Native American, 1.1% Asian, 0.7% from other races, and 1.1% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.5% of the population.

The average household size was 2.70 and the average family size was 3.31.
