I began my trek into natural health circa 2002 when I developed my first skincare formulas, eventually launching a product line and growing deeper roots in holistic, anti-aging medicine and the healing arts as a whole. As I discovered more of myself, I unlocked long-forgotten gifts and today works as an intuitive energy healer, which shapes my work as a functional medicine practitioner and clinical herbalist. I am passionate about embodying a standard of excellence for my health and pass that empowerment and knowledge along to others, while helping them correct energetic, hormone, and chronic imbalances.

If your story is anything like mine, you are on a journey to heal your body. A life free from constant chronic pain and fatigue is what so many are longing for. Maybe you’ve been to countless practitioners and received multiple diagnoses, but you still feel completely hopeless. You are not alone. I was there, too. This is my story, and I was able to heal myself.I was diagnosed with extreme adrenal fatigue, achlorhydria, Epstein–Barr virus, Leaky Gut, ovarian cysts, PCOS, Lymes disease, PTSD…oh, and I had a few parasites. All of this happened before my twenty-fourth birthday. Along with this diagnosis, I had severe depression, anxiety, constant bloating, eczema, weight gain, acne, and hormonal imbalances. It became so debilitating that steamed vegetables were the only thing my body was positively responding too. Burdened by the thousands of dollars I was spending on health care, I finally took matters into my own hands and began the journey to heal my body. And that I did.Over the course of my journey, I was able to heal. Yes, find complete freedom and excitement again in life. I now deeply feel that it is my calling to support and help other women heal. I felt completely alone in my journey, and I needed a coach and a support system to help guide me though it. That is now what I offer to you as a coach. I come alongside my clients that are hopeless, lost and frustrated that every other protocol, detox, and supplement didn’t work. I find joy in sharing my knowledge and experience with others, and my mission is for you to finally find freedom too!
Hi there! My name is Michelle Tonkin. I am a Naturopathic Doctor, Certified Nutritional Consultant, Master Herbalist, Master Iridologist and Master Reflexologist. I am a graduate of Trinity College of Natural Health and Acusage Academy. My journey to pursue these degrees started in 2001, as I desired to have answers to my own physical problems. In 1999 I began to experience many health problems such as Candidiasis, Chronic Fatigue, Epstein Barr, Fibromyalgia, Environmental Illness, Lyme Disease, Bacterial, Fungal, and Parasitical Infections. I was a total physical mess! I saw at least 30 different physicians, experienced numerous different medications and treatments, and my condition continued to deteriorate. Although kind and well meaning, the doctors had very few answers or hope for me. By God's grace, perseverance, prayer, and the faithfulness of my family and friends, the answers/solutions starting coming. My heart is to help others achieve and maintain abundant health!Blessings, Hope, Peace, Prosperity & Health be Yours ~ Michelle Tonkin ND

Naperville was founded in 1831 by Joseph Naper. The city was established by the banks of the DuPage River and was originally known as Naper's Settlement. By 1832, over 100 residents lived in Naper's Settlement. In 1839, after DuPage County was split from Cook County, Naperville became the county seat, which it remained until 1868. Beginning in the 1960s, Naperville experienced a significant population increase as a result of Chicago's urban sprawl.
According to the 2021 census gazetteer files, Naperville has a total area of 39.68 square miles (102.77 km2), of which 39.10 square miles (101.27 km2) (or 98.52%) is land and 0.59 square miles (1.53 km2) (or 1.48%) is water.
Parts of Naperville drain to the West Branch of the DuPage River in DuPage County. The Forest Preserve District ownership of a large amount of property along the West Branch has minimized development in floodplains and has helped reduce the damage from overbank flooding that has occurred in the county's more developed watersheds. The DuPage River Trail also runs along the DuPage River, which serves bikes and pedestrians. Naperville was primarily flat prairie before its settlement. Its main geographic anomalies are manmade hills, such as the Greene Valley Hill, a former garbage dump.
Naperville has had two major floods, one in 1996 and one in 2013.
In Will County, the southwest portion is in Wheatland Township, and the southeast portion is in DuPage Township. The largest number of Naperville residents live in Lisle Township, followed by Naperville Township.
Naperville's municipal boundaries are cut noticeably by many places. In the west, Springbrook Prairie, a forest preserve run by The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, is a major enclave. In the southwest, the Tamarack neighborhood is a major unincorporated enclave. In the north, McDowell Grove Forest Preserve and various office complexes around Diehl Road form a major enclave into the boundary
Naperville prioritizes the health and wellness of its residents, offering numerous facilities and services. Edward Hospital, a leading healthcare institution, plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to the community. The Spa at the Ritz-Carlton provides a luxurious retreat with a range of bespoke treatments, including signature massages, facials, and body therapies. King Spa & Sauna is a Korean-style jjimjilbang that offers a variety of saunas, pools, and relaxation areas. Spavia Day Spa offers a wide range of personalized spa services, including therapeutic massages, skin care treatments, and body wraps. Oxygen Spa Studio focuses on delivering high-quality, customized spa treatments. Midtown Athletic Club is a premier fitness facility offering a wide range of services, including state-of-the-art gym equipment, group fitness classes, tennis courts, and personal training.
