Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Yoga Teacher
Hi, I’m Nikki. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Registered Yoga Teacher - RYT-200, and certified herbalist, but those titles only tell part of the story.
I’m someone who genuinely believes that taking care of your mental health should involve more than sitting in a chair talking about what’s wrong. My work blends counseling with mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and body-based practices to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and, more importantly, figure out what to actually do about it.
I’m warm, straightforward, a little playful, and deeply curious about people. I love the moments in therapy when something suddenly clicks, when you see yourself or a situation differently and think, *“Wait… I never looked at it that way before.”* Those are the moments that can create real change.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me practicing yoga, getting outside, spending time with my teenage daughter, or hanging out with my animals. I’m a proud dog-and-cat person with a Great Dane, a Shih Tzu-Maltese mix, and a cat who has made it very clear that she is the actual owner of the house.
Nature, movement, mindfulness, and animals are a big part of what keeps me grounded, too. I don’t believe wellness has to look perfect or fit into one particular box. Sometimes it’s meditation. Sometimes it’s yoga. Sometimes it’s a really good conversation, a walk outside, or sitting on the floor with your dog after a long day.
My approach is about bringing all of those pieces together in a way that feels practical, human, and sustainable. Whether you’re coming to me for counseling, yoga, meditation, or simply looking for a little more balance in your life, I want you to feel like you can show up exactly as you are.
