Service Description
**ONLY OFFERED THROUGHOUT TEXAS**
Relationships can feel overwhelming when communication breaks down, conflict becomes repetitive, or emotional connection begins to fade. I work with couples who want to communicate more effectively, rebuild trust, strengthen intimacy, and create healthier relationship patterns.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I provide a supportive, balanced, and nonjudgmental space where both partners can feel heard. Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, we identify the patterns keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies for moving forward.
My approach incorporates the Gottman Method, CBT, mindfulness, attachment-informed work, and trauma-informed care.
Areas of Focus
• Communication and recurring conflict
• Trust and relationship repair
• Emotional disconnection and intimacy
• Attachment and relationship patterns
• Premarital counseling
• Parenting and co-parenting stress
• Boundaries and emotional needs
• Major relationship and life transitions
What You Can Expect
Couples therapy with me is collaborative and goal-focused. Together, we will identify unhealthy communication cycles, explore the emotions and needs beneath conflict, and practice healthier ways of connecting.
My goal is to help you move from feeling like opponents to working together as partners—building greater understanding, trust, and emotional connection.
Service Requirements
Once you have booked a session, you will be provided with a Marriage Questionnaire for each partner to complete in order for me to complete a Relationship Domain Analysis for the couple.
FAQs
Q: Do we have to be in crisis to start relationship counseling?
A: No. Therapy can help at any stage—whether you’re struggling with serious concerns or simply want to strengthen communication, connection, and intimacy.
Q: Will the therapist take sides?
A: The goal is not to decide who is “right” or “wrong.” Therapy focuses on understanding each partner’s experience, identifying relationship patterns, and helping both partners work toward healthier interactions.
Q: What issues can relationship therapy help with?
A: Common concerns include communication difficulties, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, trust, infidelity, intimacy, boundaries, parenting differences, major life transitions, and separation-related concerns.
Q: What if my partner and I aren’t sure whether we want to stay together?
A: You don’t have to have that answer before beginning.Therapy can provide a structured space to explore concerns, clarify needs, and better understand what each person wants moving forward.
Q: How long does relationship therapy take?
A: There is no set timeline. The length of therapy depends on your concerns, goals, relationship history, and progress. Your therapist can work with you to establish goals and regularly evaluate how therapy is progressing.
