Professional Statement

I have been teaching yoga since May of 2024, and my journey started as a means to get myself out of pain by fixing bad movement patterns, but my teaching experience was shaped far before then. I worked as a paraprofessional for struggling kids at a local school just before (and during) the COVID pandemic. At this job, I learned that with a little extended compassion when someone feels particularly unlovable, you can accomplish things you never thought were possible with humans. And now adding Positive Intelligence and NLP life coaching to my offerings, as well. My mission in this life is to make connection to self feel accessible, even to skeptics like me, so even if I only ever reach a small handful of people, I believe heavily in the ripple effect of this work.
