KAP Preparation Session

This individual KAP preparation session takes place after your full intake. We’ll focus on your goals and concerns, what to expect during a dosing session, and how to create a comfortable setting and support plan. We’ll also discuss how we’ll work with your experience in integration afterward.

This is a psychotherapy session; ketamine is not administered. I provide the therapy portion of KAP, while your ketamine prescriber determines medical eligibility and manages your medication. I’m a Texas LPC-Associate supervised by LeAnna Coulter, LPC-S.

A full intake session with me is required before booking KAP preparation. Please also complete any assigned intake forms. Before we meet, consider what you hope to address through KAP and any questions or concerns you’d like to discuss.

You may attend preparation before your medical evaluation, but prescriber approval is required before a dosing session. For a virtual appointment, you must be physically located in Texas and join from a private space.

Q: Do I need a ketamine prescription before this appointment?
A: No. We can begin preparing while you explore whether KAP is right for you. A prescriber must evaluate and approve you before a dosing session.

Q: Will I take ketamine during this session?
A: No. This is a talk therapy session focused on preparing for a possible dosing experience.

A: We’ll explore your goals, expectations, concerns, support system, and practical plans for your dosing session and follow-up care.

Q: How many preparation sessions will I need?
A: That depends on your needs. We’ll decide together when you feel prepared and the required medical and practical arrangements are in place.

Q: What happens after preparation?
A: If your prescriber approves KAP and we agree it’s a good fit, we’ll plan your individual dosing session and schedule integration afterward.

Q: Do I need to complete an intake first?
A: Yes. Please book and complete a full intake session before scheduling KAP preparation.
