Hello, my name is Justin and I am excited to bring Spiritual Care Services to Steamboat Springs and surrounding communities!
I approach spiritual care with openness, compassion and a genuine desire to understand each person’s unique story. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences, relationships, values, beliefs and the things that bring meaning and direction to your life.
I have earned both a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from Emory & Henry University before completing my Master of Divinity at Emory University, where my training emphasized spiritual care within clinical and healthcare settings. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to provide spiritual care across various healthcare settings including the emergency department, intensive care, inpatient behavioral health, oncology, hospice and end of life care.
These experiences have given me the privilege of supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging and uncertain moments, while also developing meaningful, ongoing relationships with those navigating recovery, adjustment, personal growth, grief, relationship challenges and longer term life transitions. They have taught me that support does not always mean having the right answers, sometimes it begins with having a trusted person who will listen, ask meaningful questions and walk alongside you as you find your own way forward.
You do not need to identify with a particular faith or spiritual tradition to benefit from spiritual care. I welcome people of all backgrounds and perspectives and our time together is shaped by what matters most to you. Whether that includes exploring faith and spirituality or navigating relationships, grief, stress, life changes, personal values, questions of purpose or simply finding greater clarity and direction, my goal is to meet you where you are and provide a supportive space to explore what comes next.
