Service Description
WHO THIS SERVICE IS FOR:
For the mom whose toddler's meltdown turns into her own. You know the moment; one second you're fine, the next you're yelling and hating yourself for it. You've read the advice. You still don't have a way to stop it in the moment.
WHO WILL BENEFIT:
Your toddler learns how to come back from big feelings by watching you do it. Your home gets calmer. You stop replaying the meltdown in your head wondering what's wrong with you.
BENEFITS OF WORKING TOGETHER:
1. Regulate yourself first, so you stop adding fuel to the fire
2. Understand what's really happening in your toddler's brain mid-meltdown, and what they need from you
3. Leave with a two-step process you can use the next time it happens, not just a concept you agree with
4. Feel more connected to your child, less guilty about your parenting
WHAT TO EXPECT IN OUR COACHING SESSION:
One 60-minute 1:1 session, focused on your child's emotions and your triggers. We'll unpack a recent meltdown from your real life, then practice the two-step process together, so you walk out with a strategy you can use immediately.
Service Requirements
BEFORE OUR SESSION:
To make the most of our 60 minutes together, please complete the following:
About you and your child:
Your name and your child's first name
Your child's age
What's one word you'd use to describe your parenting right now? (stretched, stuck, hopeful — whatever's true)
The situation:
Tell me about a recent meltdown or moment where your toddler's big emotions took over. What happened right before, during, and after?
What did you do in that moment? What do you wish you'd done instead?
What have you already tried? (books, other coaching, breathing, etc.)
What you're hoping for:
What would it feel like to handle this differently next time?
Is there anything else going on right now (a move, a new sibling, sleep changes) that might be adding fuel to the fire?
A few things to know:
This session is coaching, not therapy. We're building a practical tool together, not diagnosing or treating any condition.
Please join from a quiet, private space where you can focus for the full hour.
This work is parent-centric, so the coaching session is with you, focused on you.
FAQs
Q: Is this just for tantrums, or does it help with other big emotions too?
A: This session is built around whatever your toddler's big emotions look like right now: tantrums, hitting, screaming, the 20-minute meltdown over the wrong colored cup. We'll work with your real situation, not a generic script.
Q: Will one session actually make a difference, or do I need ongoing coaching?
A: One session won't undo years of patterns, but it will give you a real process to interrupt the yelling-then-guilt cycle the next time it happens. Some moms find that's exactly what they needed. Others realize they want more support, and that's what my 6-Week PAUSE Coaching Plan is for.
Q: Is this only for toddlers? My child is older.
A: This session is designed for toddlers specifically, since that's where big emotions show up the most, the fastest. If your child is older, reach out and I'll point you to what fits better.
Q: What if I cry, get defensive, or feel like a bad mom during our session?
A: That happens, and it's welcome here. This isn't about proving you're doing it wrong. It's about seeing what's actually happening so you can change it.
Q: What do I need to prepare beforehand?
A: Just come with a recent meltdown in mind. We'll unpack it together.
Q: Do I get anything after the session, or is it just the hour?
A: You'll leave with a two-step process you can use immediately, plus clarity on what's happening for your toddler and for you in those moments. I'm always available after for further thoughts and questions via WhatsApp.
