A cancer diagnosis can quickly become overwhelming. This one-on-one session helps patients and families better understand the information they’ve been given, organize their questions, prepare for appointments, and communicate their concerns clearly.

We’ll review your current situation, identify the most pressing needs, and create an action plan for moving forward. This may include preparing questions for your medical team, reviewing treatment information, addressing communication problems, requesting appropriate records or second opinions, and helping you advocate for informed consent and individualized care.

My role is to help you understand your options, find your voice, and make sure your concerns and priorities are not overlooked.

After booking, you’ll receive a secure link to complete your intake forms through Practice Better. Please do not upload medical records or private health information directly to Sofia Health.

Before your appointment, please provide:

A brief explanation of your diagnosis and current situation
Your primary concerns and reason for requesting advocacy
Current treatment plan and upcoming appointments
Medication and supplement list
Relevant laboratory, pathology, and imaging reports
Any letters, denials, discharge paperwork, or other documents related to the concern
Names and roles of the providers or organizations involved
Your top three questions or desired outcomes for the session

Please submit everything at least 48 hours before your appointment so I have time to review it. A spouse, caregiver, or support person may attend with your permission.
