Stroud Township is a township in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of 2020, the township had an estimated population of 19,812.

Stroud Township was formed on January 22, 1817, and was named for Jacob Stroud, the founder of the Borough of Stroudsburg. Peter settled in present-day Stroud Township while his brothers established their homesteads in modern-day Smithfield Township.
