I've worked with teens as a teacher in middle school, in high school, a high school librarian, and now as a life coach. The reason for my commitment to teens is simple - I really like them. I earned an MEd. in. Secondary English Education and am a Certified Life Coach for Young People through Youth Coaching Institute (YCI). In the spring of 1662, Petrus Stuyvesant, Director General of New Netherlands, established the village of Niew Dorp on the site of an earlier Native American settlement. Hurley, or Nieuw Dorp (New Village), as it was then known, was founded in 1662 by a few Dutch and Huguenot settlers from nearby Wiltwyck (Kingston) with the permission of Dir. Gen.
