Grand Haven Charter Township is a charter township of Ottawa County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The Grand Haven Township is located immediately south of Grand Haven. Agnew is an unincorporated village in this Township near the junction of US 31 and M-45.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the Township has a total area of 29.5 square miles (76 km2), of which 28.7 square miles (74 km2) is land and 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2) (2.83%) is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 13,278 people, 4,609 households, and 3,811 families residing in the township. The population density was 463.6 inhabitants per square mile (179.0/km2). There were 5,042 housing units at an average density of 176.0 per square mile (68.0/km2). The racial makeup of the Township was 97.15% White, 0.12% African American, 0.35% Native American, 0.56% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 0.67% from other races, and 1.14% from two or more races.
