East Riverdale is located at 38°57′23″N 76°54′49″W (38.956315, −76.913615). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.6 square miles (4.1 km2), all land.
Prince George's County (often shortened to PG County) is a county located in the U.S. state of Maryland bordering the eastern portion of Washington, D.C. As of the 2020 U.S. census, the population was 967,201, making it the second-most populous county in Maryland, behind neighboring Montgomery County.
