Bryant is a city in Saline County, Arkansas, United States, and a suburb of Little Rock.
European settlers established themselves along Hurricane Creek in the early 19th century. A skirmish in the area occurred during the American Civil War. Rail service in the 1870s brought development. The town was hard hit by economic struggles in the early 20th century and through the Great Depression. The World War II era saw development as demand for the area's bauxite grew.
Bryant is located at 34°36′49″N 92°29′29″W (34.613518, -92.491464). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 9.1 square miles (24 km2), of which 9.1 square miles (24 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) (0.33%) is water.
As of the 2020 United States census, there were 20,663 people, 8,203 households, and 5,260 families residing in the city. In the city, the population was spread out, with 27.9% under the age of 18, 7.1% from 18 to 24, 32.7% from 25 to 44, 21.8% from 45 to 64, and 10.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females, there were 89.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.5 males.
