Mesquite is a city in the U.S. state of Texas, located in Dallas County with portions extending into Kaufman County. According to the 2020 United States census, there were 150,108 people, 46,586 households, and 34,641 families residing in the city. Per the American Community Survey in 2017, the median age was 32.8.
