In 2000, the racial makeup of the CDP was 58.77% White, 16.11% African American, 0.59% Native American, 1.51% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 20.27% from other races, and 2.71% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 44.34%. By 2020, non-Hispanic whites declined to 11.74% of the population, and Hispanics or Latinos of any race grew to 77.2% of the population.
