Established in 1948 the first Franklin CountyMetro Park opened in Reynoldsburg, Blacklick Woods, and Blacklick Woods Golf Course; a 643-acre park with a golf course, several multi-purpose trails, one of the oldest Beech-maple forest in central Ohio, a winter sledding hill, a Nature Center and the Walter A.
