The Harford County Board of Education, under the jurisdiction of the State of Maryland, provides services to educate the residents of Edgewood and its surrounding neighborhoods within the official boundaries established by the county. Edgewood has several elementary schools (Edgewood Elementary and Deerfield Elementary), a middle school (Edgewood Middle), and a newly rebuilt high school (Edgewood High School).
