Severance is a Statutory Town in Weld County, Colorado, United States. The population was 7,683 at the 2020 census. The town is located on the Colorado Eastern Plains, northwest of Greeley, a crossroads of county roads. A post office in Severance has been in operation since 1894. Severance is also the home of KRKA radio, an Air 1 station with a far-reaching signal that can be heard as far away as Denver.
