El Dorado is a city in, and the county seat of, Union County, on the southern border of Arkansas, United States. El Dorado is located in the West Gulf Coastal Plain: In Arkansas, the West Gulf Coastal Plain covers the southeastern and south-central portions of the state along the border of Louisiana.
