Struggling to make a decision?

Service Description

Do you need to make a decision, but can't seem to do so?

Is it causing you so much stress?

Are you losing sleep over it?

We make decisions every day. But not all decisions are equal. Some are bigger and more important than the others, because they have the potential to make a huge impact in our lives. These types of decisions are the ones that are much harder to make.

We can't decide on them because there's too much at stake. We're afraid to make the wrong decision because of all the worst case scenarios that we’re telling our heads. Those stories we run over and over in our minds are so paralyzing that it’s easy to just not do anything.

But experience often tells us that the worst that we imagine don’t happen at all. Our minds have the tendency to exaggerate a threat, imagining all the horrid things that can happen. Because we’re used to thinking like this all the time, this becomes our default behavior every time a decision has to be made.

Fear is at the root of all this. We are afraid of failure, of rejection, of stepping out of our comfort zone, of the unknown…so there’s lots of fears in us. But usually these are all perceived fears. What we fear can happen, but our experience tells us that most of the time they don’t.

And the best way to overcome fear is to really just do that thing that we’re afraid of. So if you’re afraid to make a decision because you’re not sure that you’re going to choose the right thing, then just do it anyway. You never know what’s going to happen after unless you make that decision.

If you do make a decision and it turns out that it’s not the best decision, then you can just make another one. But the point is that you never know unless you decide.

So book a session with me today so I can help you go through a simple process that will help you make that decision that you’ve been avoiding to make.

FAQs

Q: How does life coaching work?
A: Life coaching is a powerful process where a coach helps people fulfill their God-given potential and life purpose. The coachee (person being coached) identifies the challenges or issues that he/she needs to overcome, and through the help of a coach, sets workable goals that will allow him/her to experience breakthrough. Coaching is a very powerful process because it empowers people to think about their situation with intentionality, and identify the things that will help them achieve the goals that they have set out for themselves.

Q: What happens during a coaching session?
A: At the beginning of our program, we will set your coaching goal. Then we will break it into manageable chunks, which will be the basis for our coaching sessions. Every coaching session that you'll have with me will be part of an ongoing conversation that is geared toward helping you achieve your goals. All sessions will be results-oriented, which means that we always start by identifying what you want to take away after our conversation. Our conversations will follow a simple framework that will keep us focused on your desired results. This includes asking you questions that will give you the chance to think through the factors that influence your situation. We always end a coaching session with a solid plan for the week ahead. You commit to work on this plan, and I commit to hold you accountable for the actions that you commit on doing.

Q: How long are the coaching sessions?
A: The sessions are 45 minutes in length. Although, there may be instances when we need to extend a few more minutes before we end a session. There is no additional fee for when this happens.

Q: How many sessions do I need?
A: A coaching journey is different for every person. Thus, the number of sessions you need largely depends on what you want to achieve. Most people sign up for coaching programs with specific goals in mind. Oftentimes, these are big goals that need to be broken down into smaller goals. These smaller goals are the focus for the coaching sessions, which when completed will bring them toward their overall desired results. This means that a coaching program will look different for every person, ultimately influencing the number of sessions a persons need to commit to.

Q: What will I have to do to make this work?
A: For coaching to work, you must be committed to make change happen in your life. You must be willing to do everything necessary to complete all the action steps you set for yourself. Most of all, you need to be totally open and honest about your self and your situations, and you must be willing to dig deeper into your life so you can get the answers you need. Your level of commitment to a coaching relationship will directly influence the speed at which you will achieve your desired results. My role as a coach is that of a facilitator. I steer the conversations toward the right direction and ask the right questions. I commit to hold you accountable for your commitments and to encourage you in every step that you take.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellations are not allowed, but you are welcome to reschedule. If you wish to reschedule, please do so at least 48 hours before the scheduled session.

Q: What happens if I miss a session?
A: "No shows" will be charged the full amount for the session.
