Eau Claire is a city in Eau Claire and Chippewa counties in the state of Wisconsin in the U.S. It is the seat of Eau Claire County. Eau Claire is about 90 miles (145 kilometers) east of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, on the northern fringes of the Driftless Zone.
