It is also the halfway point between New York City and Toronto, about 245 miles (390 km) from each, Toronto to the northwest and NYC to the southeast.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 66 square kilometers (25.6 square miles), of which 65 square kilometers (25.1 square miles) is land and 1.6 square kilometers (0.6 square miles) (2.15%) water.
