Holland Charter Township is a charter township of Ottawa County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the population was 38,276. The City of Holland is adjacent to the south and is administratively autonomous.

Ottawa County is a county located in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the United States 2020 Census, the population was 296,200. The county seat is Grand Haven. The county is named for the Ottawa Nation, was set off in 1831, and organized in 1837. Ottawa County is included in the Grand Rapids-Kentwood, MI Metropolitan Statistical Area and has a significant Dutch American population.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 27.5 square miles (71 km2), of which 27.2 square miles (70 km2) is land and 0.3 square miles (0.78 km2) (1.02%) is water.
