Florida Ridge is located at 27°34′28″N 80°23′30″W (27.574529, -80.391685). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 12.6 square miles (33 km2), of which 10.8 square miles (28 km2) is land and 1.8 square miles (4.7 km2) (14.15%) is water.
