Ensley is a census-designated place (CDP) in Escambia County, Florida. It is a community in Pensacola, located northwest of Pensacola City Limits. The population was 23,817 at the 2020 United States Census, up from 20,602 at the 2010 Census. It is part of the Pensacola–Ferry Pass-Brent, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. Ensley is a transportation corridor for the Pensacola Area, with US-90 ALT, US-29, and Interstate 10 running through Ensley.
Ensley is located at 30°31′24″N 87°16′25″W (30.523395, -87.273492).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 12.2 square miles (31.7 km2), of which 12.2 square miles (31.5 km2) is land and 0.077 square miles (0.2 km2), or 0.56%, is water.
In the CDP, the population was spread out, with 25.2% under the age of 18, 9.9% from 18 to 24, 29.9% from 25 to 44, 22.7% from 45 to 64, and 12.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females, there were 91.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.3 males.
