Saraland is a city in Mobile County, Alabama, United States, and a suburb of Mobile. Saraland, part of the Mobile metropolitan area, is the third largest city in Mobile County.

Saraland remained a small community until the mid-twentieth century when Mobile’s expanding population began to spread into nearby communities. Saraland was incorporated in 1957 with 125 residents.
