Having learned and practiced Tai Chi as a young man, I recently renewed my study and have been practicing daily for four years. I can teach Yang Style Tai Chi Forms 8, 13, 16, 24, 32, 37, 40 and 42 forms. I also teach the recently adopted "Bafa Wubu" form, China's new Tai Chi standard. I use the "Stepwise Progressive Method," made popular from Dr. Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Health Institute, for the most effective way to teach Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention. My mirror forms can help you learn Tai Chi movements from front and back views. As a fellow Tai Chi student, I continue to take classes to improve my Tai Chi. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the physical and health benefits. For mobility impaired adults, I focus on safety training, including seated Tai Chi forms. For the more agile, I help my students become aware of the martial aspects and traditional Chinese medicinal benefits of Tai Chi Chuan. We will learn healthy diaphragmatic breathing, the smooth movements of Yin and Yang with Silk Reeling, and the enhanced vitality you can experience. With regular practice, you can apply Tai Chi principles into your everyday life. I have a dedicated space in our home, with camera and TVs, to provide you with an optimal learning and teaching space for Tai Chi.
