Joan Lu

Joan Lu, BSN, RN, PHN, BC-FMP is a Registered Nurse and a Public Health Nurse in the State of California, USA, specialized in Gerontological Nursing, the aging population and Functional Medicine, the root-cause medicine. She specializes in the care of the aging. She has unique set of skills and knowledge that allows her to provide high-quality care to her patients. She has developed a deep understanding of the special physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual and social needs of older adults, and provide compassionate care that improves their quality of their lives as long as possible. She has been able to help patients using her conventional medicine education and experience, while using root-cause medicine and food as medicine approach. Joan has always had a passion for taking care of patients especially of the aging population, advocating for a more holistic, integrative approach to healthcare. Currently, she is completing her degree in Doctor of Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine.
