Juices & Smoothies Workshop

Do you want to learn how to make juices and smoothies but not sure where to start? Have you thought about investing on a slow juicer or a Vitamix but not sure if it's worth it? We will go over the different juicing techniques, and I will demonstrate how to use a slow masticating juicer. We'll talk about the advantages of a Vitamix versus a conventional blender. And we'll make 3 different recipes together: a vegetable juice, a superfood powered smoothie and almond milk.
A shopping list will be sent prior to the workshop so the client can interact and make the juices and smoothies together. Materials required: a blender and a strainer.
Q: Do I need a slow juicer or a Vitamix for the workshop?
A: No, I will be demonstrating how they work in case you are interested in acquiring one. But we will be able to do the same recipes using a regular blender and a strainer.
Q: Do I need to have all the ingredients from the shopping list on hand?
A: Not necessarily. You may simply take notes and make the recipes later. The focus of this workshop is learning the techniques so you can introduce more fruits and vegetables into your diet. But you will get a lot more out of the experience if you participate and make the recipes with me.
