Heather has spent 17 years working with thousands of pregnant and parenting individuals through issues including infertility, miscarriage, adverse prenatal diagnosis, premature birth, stillbirth, birth trauma, NICU stays, infant loss, postpartum depression, Subsequent Pregnancy After Loss (SPAL), physical/developmental disability and mental health issues (for parents or children). She has experienced infant loss herself as well as raising two children, each with multiple disabilities. She has also supported numerous individuals in their LGBTQ journeys. Heather has worked as the Founding Support Director for the Trisomy 18 Foundation, the Client Services Director of a local non-profit, attended over 50 births as a High Risk Doula, trained under Penny Simkin on Childbirth After Sexual Abuse, and is a Life Coach with thousands of hours of clinical experience. Whether working with issues related to pregnancy, parenting, partnering or personal life - whether dealing with the traumatic or the mundane - Heather believes strongly in the power of honesty and connection to lead to true, tangible transformation. As one client recently said, "I just have to tell you - our meeting yesterday has changed the way I view myself in a very positive way. What you are doing is lifechanging!"
